Rochester, N.Y. – New Horizons of Rochester, the training center division of Logical Operations, which is the world’s leading provider of information technology instructor-led courseware, announces a new partnership with Monroe Community College (MCC) to provide a new series of evening certification programs that will help IT professionals in the Rochester area upgrade their skills and advance their careers.

Studies indicate 84% of employers rely on certifications to improve the reliability and efficiency of their information security teams. In fact, Microsoft certifications have become the most sought after in the IT industry, as the skills gained from these technical certifications help to make teams more productive and reduce downtime in organizations. The partnership between Logical Operations and Monroe Community College will give local professionals the ability to sign up for in-demand IT certification programs such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Designer: Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Solutions Architect: Windows Server 2012 Solutions Associate, and Oracle 12c Certified Professional (OCP) Database Administrator. To accommodate for busy schedules and provide added flexibility, training will take place during the evenings at Monroe Community College.

These courses are available in addition to those that New Horizons at Rochester already offers in high-demand areas such as office productivity, networking and security, web development, digital marketing, project management, and workplace skills. Logical Operations brings over three decades of experience in developing and delivering instructor-led training programs. New Horizons at Logical Operations, the training arm of Logical Operations and Rochester’s largest training center, is well-known for its interactive and innovative training solutions that fit each individual’s learning style.

“We’re looking forward to working with one of Rochester’s most respected training organizations, Logical Operations,” said Charles Caples, program director at Monroe Community College’s Corporate College. “Through MCC’s Corporate College, we are constantly looking for innovative ways to help grow this region’s economy. This partnership will help us develop and deliver programs that will result in people getting jobs, or help those who are already employed become better at what they do.”

“We are thrilled to partner with Monroe Community College to bring these in-demand certification programs to local professionals,” said Megan Branch, VP and General Manager, New Horizons at Logical Operations. “Our relationship with MCC Corporate College allows us to access grants and programs via MCC as an accredited learning institution, which helps us further serve our veterans and workforce re-entry candidates. All three courses offered as part of this partnership are eligible for funding via RochesterWorks!; Veteran’s Education Benefits; and Adult Career and Continuing Education Services-Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCES-VR),” added Branch.
